Upload a .docx Safety Data Sheet. The validator will extract its Section 3 composition table and compare each component against the current chemical-data cache.
What the validator checks
- Section 3 (Composition / information on ingredients) is parsed from the docx XML.
- Each component is looked up in the local chemical cache (CURATED_OVERRIDES → SQLite → PubChem).
- Status per component:
match,stale(data is older than 90 days),drifted(CAS differs), ornot_in_cache. - If the SDS contains the embedded provenance JSON block, that data is also reported for comparison.
